 Susan
Campbell is an environmental science journalist. Before becoming a freelance writer in 2001, she covered
environmental issues affecting Wisconsin and the Great
Lakes as the environmental reporter at the
Green Bay
Press-Gazette.
During
her years as a newspaper reporter, Campbell also wrote
for papers in suburban Philadelphia and Boston,
covering politics, government and the courts. Her work has
won a number of awards, among them a Best of Gannett
for a series on PCB pollution in Wisconsin’s Fox River
and bay of Green Bay.
She has
received environmental and science reporting
fellowships from the Knight Center for Environmental
Journalism and the American Chemical Society, and is a
member of the Society of Environmental Journalists and
a graduate of Boston University.
Campbell is also an adjunct college journalism
instructor.
Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she
now lives in the Milwaukee area with her husband and
daughter. |
