Paul Wozniak gave a riverfront history talk to
members of the National Environmental Tribal
associates, meeting in Oneida, Wisconsin for an
annual conference. The tour was aboard the Foxy
Lady, a cruise boat that toured the inner
islands of lower Green Bay and the riverfront
between the city of Green Bay and De Pere,
Wisconsin. About 30 Indian and state/local
environmental officials participated. Wozniak
noted the long-standing ties between
European-origin environmentalists and Native
American tribal members throughout the 20th
century.
