Paul lives in De Pere, Wisconsin, a city on the Fox River upstream from Green Bay.  As an environmental historian, Paul records the history of the conservation movement and environmental policy in the Fox/Wolf Rivers basin.  He founded and leads the Fox/Wolf Rivers Environmental History Project (www.wisconsinwaterhistory.org) as well as a community mapping effort called the Green Bay Green Map Project (www.greenbaygreenmap.org).

Holder of a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in environmental sciences, Paul is employed as a statistical analyst in the market research field.  His volunteer community involvement has led him to author publications for scholarly journals including the Transactions of the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters, and to take leadership positions in the Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame and Wisconsin Association for Environmental Education.
